Shifting our DAILY habits is the most effective thing we can do to affect major change in the world, as the little things we do every single day add up EXPONENTIALLY throughout our lifetimes.
Our CSA members are doing JUST that – they are taking the lead on creating a NEW, LOCALIZED food system by choosing local food for their daily meals. By having a weekly subscription, members shift a significant portion of their diets to local and organic, and this steadfast support in turn directly affects the number of acres of land we can steward as farmers, how well we can steward that land and the number of people we can hire.
If more people in the Mid-Atlantic region shift more of their diets to local and organic foods, over the next few years a MASSIVE shift can happen. Our communities will rely less on fossil fuels to ship produce (that can be grown locally) across the country. Our communities will become more resilient by relying less on imports – imports that are subject to supply chain or climate change disruptions at any point – for our daily needs and survival. And with increased support, the region's farmers can transition more acres to organic food production with long-term soil health strategies and help to heal our region from years of poor land and water management that is poisoning our waterways and ecosystem.

We’d love to be your farmers and are now accepting sign ups for our Peak Season and Year Round subscriptions! Payments are by the week and you can skip weeks as needed (by our noted deadlines)! We offer a swap option, multiple share sizes, PLUS the ability to add on items!
