Moon Valley Farm x Atwater’s TOMATO JAM!

We’re so excited to partner with Baltimore-based traditional food maker Atwater’s to create TOMATO jam. Atwater's used tomatoes from our farm last summer to make this amazing LOCAL jam!

What inspired Atwater’s to create this jam?

“Atwater's Tomato Jam was inspired by a recipe my mom and I made a few years ago, using our homegrown tomatoes. We were hundreds of miles apart but both tried it, and got to taste each other's batches. It was always comforting and invigorating to enjoy during the off-season.”

What does it taste like?

The flavor is uniquely delicious. It's sweet and savory, tangy, with a little kick from a blend of warming spices- which includes Atwater’s house-made Fresno pepper flakes! The uplifting flavor of a perfect summer tomato, but jammy and spreadable.

How do you use it?

Tomato jam is great on any kind of savory sandwich! A burger, veggie burger, or egg sandwich-- yum. It's also exquisite when paired with cheese and crackers! Atwater's own creamery makes an aged cheddar called "National Pike" which is a perfect pairing!
