By purchasing a CSA share or otherwise participating in Moon Valley Farm's CSA program you agree to the following:

Membership Terms:

The CSA harvest is protected by sustainable and organic practices such as organic soil improvements, row covers, crop rotation, and continuous plantings. Moon Valley Farm and our CSA members will share both the risks and rewards of the growing season and Moon Valley Farm will employ all possible resources to ensure high quality CSA shares for the duration of our agreed upon season.  Any produce grown by a farm other than Moon Valley Farm will be clearly identified.


Membership Expectations:

CSA members should expect to:

1. Bring your own bags to carry your veggies!

2. Be respectful of our pickup site hosts’ property, patrons, and neighbors.

3. Pick up your share within the stated time frame. If there’s ever a day when you can’t pick up your share, you may send someone else to pick it up for you. You may request to pick up your share on a different day or week once per season if you give at least 48 hours of notice to the farmers. All shares not picked up (without prior notice) are forfeited for the week.


Share Hold/Missed Share Policy:

CSA members may set share holds (vacation or other expected absences) through the membership gateway.  Shares placed on hold can be collected as an additional share at the members’ next available CSA pickup.  It is the responsibility of CSA members to place their share on hold OR arrange to have someone pick up their share if they are unavailable to retrieve their share during the agreed window.  Moon Valley Farm is not responsible for any missed shares and will not offer a share replacement for shares that were not placed on hold.


Refund Policy:

If a CSA member chooses to forfeit the remainder of their shares for the season, they may find a replacement to take over their share. Moon Valley Farm does not offer refunds as we invest the requisite funds provided by our community at the start of the season in fertilizer, seed, equipment, etc. in order to produce the highest quality organic vegetables for our CSA members. No exceptions.
